Fasteners matter more than people realize
— which is why Azzzoy exists

• Automotive recalls are often fastening failures in disguise.

Recent recalls (including the current Toyota Camry models) highlight how traditional bolts, clips, and fasteners can loosen, fatigue, or fail under vibration and thermal cycling.
Azzzoy is vibration-resistant by design, locking without threads and eliminating many of the failure modes that trigger large-scale recalls.

• Space failures are rarely about “big” technology.

During pre-launch testing for the James Webb Space Telescope (2019), fasteners loosened under extreme vibration, causing costly delays.
Azzzoy was not patented then — but future missions could avoid similar risks using non-threaded, mechanically locked fastening systems.

• Speed matters at the highest levels of performance.

Mercedes-Benz holds a wheel-change record of ~1.7 seconds using a traditional single boss spin-off, spin-on system.
With no spin-on or spin-off, Azzzoy wheel fastening could realistically push this below one second.

• Electric and traditional vehicles amplify two benefits.

All domestic vehicles can be retrofitted with Azzzoy-based wheel systems, enabling:
– Faster wheel changes (no lug nuts at all.)
– Reduced part count
– Lighter unibody assemblies
– Practical use of composite wheels, improving EV range and efficiency

• Explosive bolts remain a single-point risk in spaceflight.

A recent SpaceX launch failure involved damage caused by a pyrotechnic separation system.
Azzzoy can replace explosive bolts with electrically actuated, non-pyrotechnic release mechanisms — and be reusable, testable, and safer. (You can't test an explosive bolt!)

• Redundancy saves lives in space.

Unlike pyrotechnic systems, Azzzoy can also be manually released, providing a critical emergency option for future crewed missions.

• Fastener verification should be a safety requirement, not a luxury.

Azzzoy can incorporate RFID-based closure verification, allowing aircraft doors and panels to be electronically confirmed as locked via current bluetooth and near field scanning technology.
In incidents such as aircraft panel loss, an RFID-enabled Azzzoy system would allow AI software to notify a human supervisor confirming that every fastener is inserted and positively engaged before flight.

• It’s not just aerospace, marine and automotive.

On an everyday level, Azzzoy can mount towel rails, grab rails, safety fixtures, toilet seats and even convert into door locking systems without excessive hardware, and remove or open cleanly without pullout wall damage. Building scaffolding that locks securely yet comes apart rapidly as required...

• These prior examples are some of the obvious ones.

There are untold applications across every industry — many we haven’t even imagined yet.

Azzzoy isn’t a better bolt.
It’s a total rethink of fastening itself.
