This is how the Azzzoy principle works. There are hundreds of variations, including variable thickness fasteners, round hole solutions and ideas you haven't thought of yet. There is a mathematical rule that governs the Azzzoy process. The neat thing about Azzzoy is it can selectably be removed and reused, depending upon the material and specific application.
